A prostitution sting resulted in Temecula resulted in the arrests of 10 men, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported Friday.
Sheriff’s deputies coordinated an operation targeting “johns” in the city of Temecula on Thursday, sheriff’s Sgt. Robert Menchaca said.
According to Menchaca, the 10 suspects tried to solicit an undercover female deputy for sexual favors in exchange for money. During the operation, investigators also targeted men with active warrants known to buy and sell narcotics.
The suspects were arrested on prostitution and narcotics charges and booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in French Valley.
