Thousands of car aficionados flocked to historic downtown Murrieta for the 7th annual Murrieta Rod Run Friday, Oct. 11, and Saturday, Oct. 12.
Featuring music, entertainment, food, vendors and the always popular classic cars, the event hosted by the Drifters Car Club of Southern California, benefits Murrieta’s Oak Grove Center.
The event led off with the Friday Night Cruise which took place on Washington Avenue, between Kalmia and Ivy streets. On Saturday, more than 20,000 visitors got an up close and personal look at the 400 hot rods and classic cars parked on Washington Street during the free event.
