Jeff Pack Staff Writer An AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps Pacific Region team, Blue 8, is assisting with projects throughout the region through April 9.  The team is comprised of 10 young adults from across the United States who are serving together to get things done for a 10-month service term. “AmeriCorps, the National Civilian Community Corps is a program for 18 to 24-year-olds from all over the nation to come and basically just dedicate 10 months of service to give back to America and back to the communities that we serve in,” Katie Chookagian, the media representative for AmeriCorps NCCC team Blue 8, said. “There’s different regions throughout America.
