Supporting the group, Lawful America, Sandra Efrainson, and a little less than a dozen anti-vaccination demonstrators were at the corner of Ynez and Rancho California roads on Friday, Jan. 24, voicing their displeasure with laws that they say violate the constitution.

“We are demonstrating because our freedoms are being infringed on with these vaccine mandates,” Efrainson said. “Our medical freedom is being overtaken with these mandates it’s unconstitutional. A lot of people don’t really know that, you know? A lot of people are under the impression that the greater public good is benefiting from vaccines. But evidence has shown that a lot of the children are becoming ill from vaccines, right?

“We’re having an increase in rates of autism even though the CDC tries to deny that autism is a direct cost from vaccines, even though it was in the inserts even a few years ago. So, we’re having to stand up for our freedoms and our rights because our children are being denied their right to go to school. A lot of even private places like camps and things like that are denying children.”

Efrainson mentioned California Senate Bill 277 (SB277), a California law that removed personal belief as a reason for an exemption from vaccine requirements in private, public or secondary schools. The law applies to daycare centers as well.

“Vaccine mandates, when you’re forcing anything like that onto people, then you are actually warring against the constitution,” she said. “That means you’re warring against the people. In the law, that means that is treason. So, this is very serious and that’s what we’re doing here today.”

Efrainson gestured to a car that drove by that shouted out negative comments to the group.

“We’re local, we were business owners here, we have children and they want to go to school,” she said. “We get harassed like that all the time, but we don’t care because what’s really happening is that children are getting hurt and they’re dying because of vaccines.

“Now this is America. It should be your choice to give your children any medication, any drug company product, right?

“But what’s happening is that these lobbyists have basically taken over our government and they’re passing policies that are completely unconstitutional and they are coercing parents.”
