The Anza Valley Christian Fellowship tent sale was held Thursday, Oct. 1, through Saturday, Oct. 3, at the church grounds off Bautista Road in Anza, welcoming bargain hunters to search for deals in the kitchenware, collectibles, shoes, purses, linens, books, clothes, jewelry and more.
The semi-annual event opened late this year, due to the pandemic, with masks required and social distancing practiced. Another sale is planned for the end of October.
“Sharon Morgan is the coordinator of the sale and has been for at least 11 years,” KC Neer said. “She manages the set-up to take-down. A wonderful woman with the heart of a giant. We are blessed to have her in our congregation.”
The funds raised at the rummage sale are used for various outreach ministries, community projects and for church upkeep.
The next sale will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, through Saturday, Oct. 31. Candy and goodies will be available for children trick or treating in Anza on Halloween.
