The first days of school at the Anza Valley Christian School have been full of inspiration, games, learning and activities.

Located on the Anza First Southern Baptist Church campus, the small school accepts students from kindergarten through the fourth grade. As a Christian school, lessons include academic instruction that is also Christ-centered, creating adults who will be positive influences on society.

The objectives of the school include academic, spiritual, social and physical growth and excellence. The students thrive in this environment.

The school has a flexible tuition schedule that translates into a reasonable cost for such an extraordinary education. Enrollment includes anyone, and there are even scholarships available.

Besides tuition, the school depends on donations and fundraising events.

The ninth annual Ride on the Rez, a day of horseback riding through the canyons of the Cahuilla Indian Reservation, includes raffles, auctions, a cowboy dinner and entertainment. This event raises funds exclusively for the AVCS.

This year’s Ride on the Rez will occur Saturday, Sept. 28. For more information on the Ride, contact Renette Davies at (951) 763-5655.
