SAN JACINTO – Temple Beth Am will celebrate Hanukkah, Festival of Lights, at its Friday, Dec. 27, Hanukkah service. When the light, which hangs above the ark containing the Torah, was rekindled, there was only enough oil to last for a few hours. But miraculously, the oil lasted eight days, allowing time to produce more oil.Hanukkah is celebrated by lighting the menorah candles for eight days.
