Sammy the German Shepherd dog gave his owner, groomer and onlookers a scare as he locked himself inside the family sedan as it was running Saturday, Sept. 23.“Sammy went for his first bath at Lorraine's Pet Supply and Grooming in Anza and when I came to pick him up, he wanted to get into the car, as it was such a hot day,” explained owner Sue Greenberg. “I put him in the back seat with the car running and AC on. As I closed the door and went to get my purse in the back, all doors were locked.
