The California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section, which is the governing body for high school athletics in most of Southern California, released a statement that their offices will remain closed due to the continued concerns related to the COVID-19 virus.

“Pursuant to California Executive Action N-33-20, the ‘stay-at-home’ order, the CIF Southern Section Office will remain closed until that order has been lifted,” Rob Wigod, commissioner of CIF Southern Section, said. “We will continue to update the CIF Southern Section website, as well as our various social media platforms with any changes as they become available during this health crisis due to the COVID-19 virus.”

All employees will remain working remotely during this time and will be reachable via their individual email accounts, which can be found, along with other sports information, at https://www.cifss.org.
