ANZA – Anza Electric Cooperative Inc. set its annual membership meeting to be held virtually Saturday, Sept. 19, at 9 a.m. The cooperative will broadcast its annual reports over its YouTube and Facebook social channels, as well as a live audio simulcast courtesy of local radio station KOYT 97.1 FM Community Radio.
“Because of the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve been challenged to operate a bit differently in 2020,” Kevin Short, general manager of AEC, said. “Our annual meeting is a big event for the community every year, as well as a requirement for us. We provide our members with important information regarding the cooperative, conduct regular voting on issues and director seats, as well as information on our various programs. This year, we decided to go virtual.”
