TEMECULA – It’s the last chance this season to enjoy Heyday Events’ Under the Stars Concert Series. Top cover bands give stellar authentic performances at wineries in Temecula Valley Wine Country. Tribute concerts include Stairway to Zepplin playing top Led Zeppelin hits, Erotic City featuring Prince’s fan favorites and Strangelove performing popular Depeche Mode songs. Tickets must be purchased online at www.Heyday.com.
Stairway to Zeppelin will perform the music of Led Zeppelin Friday, Aug. 30, at Bel Vino Winery, 33515 Rancho California Road, in Temecula. The band consists of four seasoned musicians reincarnating the music of this legendary band. They are all about the music and the show experience. Each band member has had a successful music careers and performed with legendary musicians, now they are on tour together performing some of the greatest rock music of all time like “Over the Hills and Far Away,” “Kashmir,” “Heartbreaker” and of course, “Stairway to Heaven.”
Erotic City will play Friday, Sept. 13, at Bel Vino Winery. This tribute is Prince with a funky twist. For the last 20 years, Julian Stefoni has shown his talents playing guitar, keyboards, singing, dancing and performing, while being backed by some really funky musicians. Erotic City delivers a high-energy show that features classic Prince songs from his ultimate collection. With a complete live stage show, when its time to party like its 1999, Erotic City doesn’t hold back with the high heels, the lace pants, the ‘infamous’ purple coat and all of the sexiness in a Prince show: “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life.”
Strangelove performs a tribute to popular new wave Depeche Mode Friday, Sept. 20, at Mount Palomar Winery, 33820 Rancho California Road, in Temecula. Strangelove plans to deliver a career spanning, pitch perfect “best of” concert that transports the audience through time and touches on several key points in Depeche Mode’s illustrious career. Favorite hits from Depeche Mode’s debut “Speak and Spell” to their 2009’s “Sounds of the Universe” albums will be performed, including in-show costume changes to reflect the different eras. Strange Love’s devotion and reverence to Depeche Mode and their body of work creates and incredible performance that re-lives three decades of music.
