Firefighters were working to tackle a fire at a Menifee power plant this afternoon, officials said.

Cal Fire Riverside crews responded a little after 1:45 p.m. to reports of a condenser fire in the 26200 block of Antelope Road, officials said on Twitter.

General Electric’s Inland Empire Energy Center, a 750-megawatt natural gas power plant, is at that location.

Fire officials said at 2:36 p.m. that crews were expected to be at the scene for about two to three hours.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the blaze remained under investigation.
