Almost one out of five young people have “seriously considered suicide” in the past 12 months. In fact, suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 12-18 in California. Suicide is one of the leading causes of preventable death for our youth. Many times, a young person will give clear warning signs before an attempt. By knowing the warning signs associated with suicide, and knowing how to help, you could save a life.
