What better way to celebrate Leap Year than by taking a leap out of an airplane at whatever-thousand-feet and partying all day to celebrate accomplishing a bucket list challenge?
Sky Fest 2020 hosted by FestVibes is a day dedicated to a unique and prestigious leap event of the calendar that will turn Skydive Elsinore’s drop zone into a House and Techno music festival.
“We have been anticipating a day like this to unveil the first of many unique and custom experiences we desire,” according to the event page’s press release. “We all deserve a piece of weightlessness before coming to grounds with reality and ego. We will make it our personal endeavor to inspire your capabilities to unlock your inner unbounded self. A culmination of fearlessness and trust among the jumpers at hand will thrust you into a new and untapped sense of connection in the air and on land.”
The event starts at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, with tandem jump guidelines for jumpers with early jump times. Tandem skydiving tickets can be purchased from Skydive Elsinore at www.skydiveelsinore.com/book-now.
Jumpers who have later jump time slots will have access to Skyfest’s music, yoga, yerba mate bar and entertainment immediately upon arrival. Groups will be called according to jump time schedules as the day goes on.
“Our mission with Happening Times & Festvibes events is to bring souls together to dance and rejoice through the healing melodies of music,” according to the press release.
Music will be provided by DJ Susan from Hood Politics who will serve as the Skyfest 2020 host. DJ Sunset, Schmidt Happens, HuntHux with Boogie Mob, TOKE with Afternoon Umbrella Friends, MAXIMO with Pangea Project and APOLLO V with Family Reunion will also perform.
As the music grooves yoga instructor Ocean Nicky will be holding sessions throughout the day, live artists XgriffenX will be painting and yerba mate will be served by the Elevated Meteros.
“Once everyone has completed their tandem jump, we will have a celebratory toast in honor of our strength and willingness to seek and find abundance through experience,” according to the press release. “Everyone will then be able to unite as one and dance with their newly found friends, newly found adrenaline, and new heightened outlook on life.”
