Grandfathers For Golf announces that registration is now open for their winter session of free golf instruction for youth in the Hemet/San Jacinto area for children 7 and up Tuesdays and Thursdays at Golden Era Golf Course in San Jacinto beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21. Valley News/ Courtesy photo

SAN JACINTO – Grandfathers For Golf announced that registration is now open for their winter session of free golf instruction for youth in the Hemet/San Jacinto area. Classes are for children 7 and up and will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at Golden Era Golf Course in San Jacinto beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21.

This year students can attend Tuesdays, Thursdays or both. Classes begin at 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Grandfathers provides every child with lessons, a uniform, a golf bag and golf clubs of their very own. There is never a charge for any of their services. Preregistration is preferred and can be done at www.grandfathersforgolf.org. Intermediate classes are also beginning but are by invitation only.
