Hamilton Bobcats name class of 2020’s valedictorian and salutatorian

Hamilton High School announced the names of the class of 2020’s valedictorian and salutatorian who will represent the senior class at their planned commencement ceremony Tuesday, May 26.

The Anza Valley high school recognized Megan Necochea as the 2019-2020 valedictorian for her persistence and hard work, a 4.2619 GPA and a SAT score of 1360.

Necochea has been actively involved in the Interact Club, National Honor Society, Pre-Health Club, Mathletes and the California Scholarship Federation. She has played soccer for four years in high school. Nechohea will complete six Advanced Placement classes and three concurrent courses while enrolled at Hamilton High School. After high school, she plans to attend Seattle Pacific University and major in English and creative writing.

Representing Hamilton High as the salutatorian is Taylor Ludwig with a 4.1395 GPA and a SAT score of 1110.

Ludwig will complete six AP classes and two concurrent courses in her tenure at Hamilton High. She has also been an active member of the Interact Club, National Honor Society and Pre-Health Club. She played volleyball while enrolled at Hamilton High. Taylor plans to attend Mt. San Jacinto College and transfer to University of California Irvine or San Diego State University to pursue a degree in business.
