Pancakes, arts and crafts and the jolly ole’ elf were the center of attention at the Breakfast with Santa event hosted by the Parent Teacher Student Association and held in the multipurpose room at the Hamilton K-8 School Saturday, Dec. 7.

Children, their parents and siblings enjoyed breakfast, art projects and photo shoots with Kriss Kringle for free with a PTSA membership.

Photographer Joanne Salazar took photos of the children and their families with Santa. Vera Bailey and Kayla Yackel Freel supervised printing the pictures onto high-quality photo paper ready for framing.

Monica Arellano, Dalia Lammon and Teresa Castro flipped pancakes, poured orange juice and served up plates of breakfast.

Brianne Hopkins and Jennifer Dunn greeted families entering the room, answered questions and collected new PTSA memberships.

School staff Marianne Labs, Teresa Haeckel, Sharon Evans, Vicente Ramirez and Aurora Perez also assisted where needed.

Hemet Unified School District Parent Resource Center personnel helped with ornaments and more, while dressed in elf outfits. They handed out goodie bags loaded with pens, pencils, lip balm and a flyer about an upcoming festival slated for January and more.

Cindy R. Llamas, Brenda Campos and Joenie and Joanna Miresq came in Friday before the party and decorated the large multipurpose room.

Dixie Fletcher said, “Thank you Hamilton K-8 and PTSA. Our girls had a blast.”
