CalHiSports.com, which is one of the top informative websites for California high school sports, released its annual state boys’ and girls’ basketball award winners, which included many local standouts.

Topping the list is Rancho Christian High School’s Evan Mobley, a five-star recruit and one of the three best players in the 2020 recruiting class. Mobley, who was chosen to the CalHiSports.com Open Division/Division 1 boys’ team, is committed to play college basketball for University of Southern California.

Also, from Rancho Christian, is Dominick Harris, who was selected to the Open Division/Division 1 Third team.

Linfield Christian High School’s Donovan Cox, a First-team pick in Division 5, was the only other player from the area to be selected on the boys’ front.

For the girls’ CalHiSports.com State basketball team, Paloma Valley High School’s Mya Pierfax and Sydney Woodley were First-team choices in Division 3, and San Jacinto Valley Academy’s Princess McCauley was the final girl selected, a Division 5 First-team selection.
