The winter and spring sports seasons are still colliding and sharing the stage for a short while longer. The winter sports playoffs are underway for those student athletes whose programs made it to the playoffs, and by the weekend, the State CIF Regional games will officially be over. The Southern Section offices of the CIF released the most recent updated polls Monday, March 2, and quite a few local baseball, softball, and boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams are being focused in their perspective divisions. Keep an eye out for these teams, plus those that will work to showcase themselves in the coming weeks, hoping to crack the rankings:
