HS Sports: Southern Section CIF Fall sports poll updates

The final polls for the high school girls’ volleyball season and the boys’ water polo teams have been released and the playoff brackets are out as well, including girls golf, which like girls’ field hockey, has no updated polls. That information will be updated in the coming days online for the Valley News and can be found at www.cifss.org. Meanwhile playoff pictures are coming to fruition for the remainder of the high school fall sports programs, and many of them saw some great movement this week. The action in the water, on the fields and on the girls’ volleyball and tennis courts is heating up as playoffs get close. The updated polls show quite a few local teams getting great exposure in their perspective divisions as the seasons get underway. The latest CIF Southern Section polls were released Monday, Oct. 21, as we bring you some of the local area teams that have cracked the rankings:
