MURRIETA – Real estate veteran Robert H.S. Kirkpatrick has joined SVN Insight commercial real estate advisers as a senior adviser and director of business development. Kirkpatrick brings nearly 50 years of real estate expertise with experience in nearly every facet of the industry, including development, brokerage, property management, syndication, lending and escrow.

He served as the president and CEO of Catalyst Homes, co-founder and president of Benchmark Escrow, the director of Community National Bank and the vice chairman of Fallbrook National Bank. Kirkpatrick also spent six years at the Grubb and Ellis Company and was the company’s first sales manager in the Inland Empire where he built the division into one of the top five in the country. Locally, Kirkpatrick is most widely known as the former president and CEO of the Rancon Companies overseeing all real estate divisions, including development, brokerage, escrow and property management. Kirkpatrick was also a founding member and president of the Inland Empire chapter of NAIOP.

“SVN is extremely honored to have Bob join our Murrieta office,” managing partner Janet F. Kramer said. “His experience, integrity, dedication to the community, and long-standing industry relationships will surely strengthen the foundation of our growing commercial real estate franchise. Even more, his witty anecdotes and humorous approach bring daily levity to the office.”

At SVN Insight, Kirkpatrick will be advising the executive team on corporate strategy and business development, leveraging his extensive experience in transaction management, recruitment, training, and DRE compliance. Additionally, Kirkpatrick will place emphasis on real estate best practices and a commitment to professional integrity as embraced by the Core Covenants that define the SVN brand.

SVN, formerly known as Sperry Van Ness, was founded in 1987 out of a desire to improve the commercial real estate industry for all stakeholders through cooperation and organized competition. Since then, SVN has grown to become a globally recognized commercial real estate brand united by the shared goal of creating value with their clients, colleagues and communities. SVN has over 1,600 professionals operating in 200 offices worldwide.
