TEMECULA ─ Avoid the crowds and celebrate Valentine’s Day early with an evening of art, culture and entertainment at the award-winning Art Off The Walls. This free First Friday art show includes an artist reception, artists displays, complimentary refreshments and live entertainment Feb. 7, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in The Merc, 42051 Main Street.
The evening begins with an artist reception for the featured painter, Joe Valencic, in The Gallery at The Merc.
Valencic’s work integrates his passion for art and exotic vehicles, with bold acrylic abstracts and car figures painted in black oil. Science and technology inspire him to create and share the art of engineering with the world. Come meet Valencic in person, and view his one-of-a-kind, exotic vehicle portraits.
Continue the evening in the cabaret-side of The Merc and at The Lot on Main, for a display of more original works of art. Enjoy sweet treats, creative conversations with artists of diverse mediums and live entertainment by musicians, Bob Bozonelos and Shay & Co. The Gallery at The Merc and the Art Show take place rain or shine. The Lot on Main is scheduled as weather permits.
Visits to Art Off The Walls supports the growing local arts community. These creative, community gatherings provide opportunities for local artists to display their fine art and entertainers to perform for guests and share their talents.
