Lake Riverside Estates undertake a gymkhana

A sunny, bright and mild morning greeted contestants at the Lake Riverside Estates Gymkhana Saturday, Oct. 17, at the LRE Equestrian Center arena and attended by both residents and their guests. Organized by residents Michelle Robinson and Diana Quinlan, the event was staffed by volunteers. Activities included games for both young and old, amateur and seasoned horse people. “It was a fun day with friends at LRE,” horsewoman Bentley Hunt said. “It was good to get my filly out at a different arena.” Children were led on horses and ponies, while more experienced equestrians galloped through barrel racing and pole bending events.
