RIVERSIDE (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $2.666, one day after rising one-tenth of  a cent.

The average price dropped 56 times in 57 days, decreasing 80.3 cents to its lowest amount since Sept. 1, 2016, then was unchanged on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose three-tenths of a cent on Saturday.

The average price is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, 25.1 cents lower than one month ago and $1.392 below what it was one year ago. It has decreased 84.2 cents since the start of the year.
