Man suspected of crashing tractor into car while intoxicated
JURUPA VALLEY (CNS) - A 47-year-old man suspected of crashing his tractor into a car parked on a Jurupa Valley street while driving under the influence, then attempting to flee the scene, was being held today in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Alberto Solis Ochoa was booked Tuesday night into the Robert Presley Jail on suspicion of DUI, hit-and-run resulting in property damage and evading a peace officer.
According to Riverside County sheriff's officials, Ochoa was driving his yellow tractor through the intersection of Clay Street and Van Buren Boulevard when he plowed into a vehicle parked along the curb about 9:45 p.m.
The suspect tried to drive away from the location immediately after the crash, investigators allege.
