LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - An investigation is underway into the operation of three illegal indoor marijuana grows at different locations in Lake Elsinore, where thousands of cannabis plants were seized. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the first grow was discovered on Friday afternoon after a fire department call for service in the 40900 block of Diana Lane. Sgt. Glenn Warrington said a transformer blew at the house from electrical overload. Deputies were requested and quickly confirmed that the residence had been converted into an indoor cultivation site, he said.
