MENIFEE –Menifee’s Economic Development Department has created a business resource guide for small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups to support and encourage small business growth. The guide contains details on development processes in the city as well as resources that are available at the local, state and federal levels.
“It is part of our strategic business gardening plan to help nurture the growth and development of our business community,” City Manager Armando Villa said. “Our city council is very focused on creating a community in which businesses are encouraged and incentivized to grow along with our city.”
The resource guide also contains information on how to start a small business in the city, including how to choose a business structure and write a viable business plan. It also consolidates vital resource information relating to international trade and exporting, high technology, financing programs, workforce development and training.
“Working with business owners every day we saw a need for this resource,” Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez said. “One of the benefits of doing business in Menifee is our streamlined processes and this is just another example of everything we’re doing to make it easier and more efficient to do business in the city.”
