More volunteers are needed to reopen Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve in Murrieta

Riverside County Park and Open Space District recently lifted a limitation for volunteers from age 65 and older on Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve in Murrieta to anyone 18 and older.SRPNEF officials said more of the plateau’s trails can be reopened if more volunteers sign up for three to four hour shifts at various external and internal trail stations.The volunteers must complete an application with the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation and be fingerprinted.
