MURRIETA – The 5-star, Yelp-rated Friends of the Murrieta Library Corner Bookstore will host their Overstock Sale Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The used bookstore has three overstock sales per year, and the public is invited to shop and update their reading lists.

Volunteer manager, Nancy Dixon, said, “Hundreds of books will be available, providing a wide range of choices for all. Where else can you find books that are in good-to-excellent condition.”

Hardbacks are $1, and paperbacks are 25 cents apiece. All proceeds from this sale will benefit the Murrieta Public Library programs. The mission of the Friends of the Murrieta Library is to support the Murrieta Public Library through fundraising, advocacy and volunteerism and to promote awareness of and support for the Library as it serves the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of our community.

“We always need volunteers willing to give of their time and talent,” Dixon said.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering and would like more information can call the bookstores at (951) 677-5350 or (951) 600-5724. Book donations are accepted.

The bookstore is located at 39445 Los Alamos Road, just east of Interstate 215, at the corner of Los Alamos Road and Whitewood Road. For more information contact the Corner Bookstore at (951) 677-5350 or at www.murrietalibraryfriends.org.
