Murrieta-Wildomar chamber, city of Murrieta to partner for job fair

The Murrieta-Wildomar Chamber of Commerce and the city of Murrieta are inviting job-seekers and potential employers to a job fair next month.

The job fair, scheduled from 3-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Murrieta Spectrum Center on Madison Avenue, will feature employers from a wide range of fields, including office, retail, hospitality, medicine, customer service, security, food service, care giving, production, manufacturing, industry and more, according to an informational flyer from the city and chamber.

“We are focusing on local employers hiring local workers in order to get commuters off the freeway and raise their quality of life,” Scott Agajanian, deputy director of development services for Murrieta, said.

All positions advertised at the job fair must be located in southwest Riverside County.

According to Agajanian, the last job fair put on by the city and chamber saw attendance from nearly 1,000 job seekers and 52 businesses.

Businesses that would like to seek employees at the fair are asked to register in advance with the Murrieta-Wildomar Chamber of Commerce at (951) 677-7916.
