Eight males and one female were arrested during a prostitution sting Wednesday Oct. 7 in an effort by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Southwest Station Problem Orientated Policing Team (POP), in partnership with personnel from the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT).
“Law enforcement personnel, operating in an undercover capacity, placed decoy advertisements and responded to existing advertisements on the internet that are commonly used for the solicitation of online prostitution,” Sgt. Collazo wrote in his report. “The undercover operators communicated with prospective customers replying to their posted prostitution (decoy) advertisements and females soliciting sex online. After brokering an agreement for paid sexual acts, the individuals were then arrested upon their arrival to the meeting location.”
Arrested during the sting were Adrien Robinson, Terence Edwards, Ronald Dye, Arjay Ramos, Christian Sliter, Andrew Chua, Dennis Flores, Alexander Hooten, and Thomas Thurman.
All eight people were arrested and booked and released from the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.
