The start to Peltzer Farm and Winery’s annual holiday celebrations will begin Saturday, Nov. 23, with the grand opening of the Peltzer Ice Rink.
The rink was opened to the public Monday, Nov. 18, and the 100-foot by 65-foot ice rink will be open every day, weather permitting, from 3 to 9 p.m. with sessions starting at 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.

Peltzer Winery Crush Club members receive a $2 discount off the regular adult prices. Military, first responders and teachers can receive a $2 discount off the prices listed above.
The Ice Rink Bar will be open for drinks on Wednesdays and Fridays through Sundays, and hot cocoa and treats will be available for purchase from the snack bar.
Just as the holiday season really starts to heat up and the weather starts to cool down, Peltzer will go all-in on the holidays with Christmas on the Farm, six weeks of holiday fun starting with two days of tree lighting ceremonies at the beginning of the month.
“It’s an annual tradition that we look forward to,” Carrie Peltzer said. “Everyone gets in their sweaters and boots and heads out with their family to enjoy wine, perhaps a beer and hot chocolate. We gather around the tree, sing carols, light candles and count down to light the tree. It’s a magical event that we share proceeds with Our Nicholas Foundation who are near and dear to our hearts.
“And then we ice skate – it’s my favorite event all year for sure,” Peltzer said.
There will be two tree lightings to accommodate everyone who wants to attend and participate in the activities at the farm, including the tree lighting which will happen at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.
Christmas at the Farm from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day features a Makers Market, Food Truck Alley, craft beer, Peltzer wine and photos with Santa from 1-5 p.m. both days. There will be live music from 6:30-10 p.m., Dec. 1, and from 3-6 p.m., Dec. 2.
