The dinner will include individual wine pairings of the Falkner’s best wines with each course in this panoramic, hilltop location.

The dinner will also include live entertainment. All food will be prepared under the direction of Executive Chef Jason Barradas. There will be reservations available for seating from 6-9:30 p.m. with a special “early bird” seating at 5:30 p.m.

The meal will begin with a glass of sparkling wine and an appetizer of snow crab cakes with spices, fennel, sweet peppers, and a lemon chive and tarragon tartar sauce, watercress greens tossed in garlic olive oil paired with the new release Falkner 2019 Sauvignon Blanc.

The second course will be a choice of either beet salad with arugula, candied striped baby beets, pork belly, crispy onions, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, tossed in riesling vinaigrette and balsamic reduction served with a glass of our Silver Medal winning 2018 Riesling or scallop crudo with thinly sliced raw Japanese Hokkaido scallops with a citrus, ginger sauce, hint of Thai chili and chives paired with the Silver Medal winning Falkner 2018 Viognier wine.

The entrée choices are either charbroiled center-cut filet mignon served with potato puree, roasted cipollini onions, roasted garlic carrots and a tarragon béarnaise sauce, and a Gold Medal, 90 Point 2015 Library Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon wine or Chilean sea bass seared with lime coriander pepper sauce, roasted fingerling potatoes, chorizo, and braised baby fennel paired with the Platinum Medal winning, Best of Class, 94 Point rated Falkner 2017 Chardonnay wine.

Finally, the dessert is a unique orange and dark chocolate cream brûlée with fresh berries and candied orange zest paired with their Silver Medal winning 2013 Port.

The price is $114 per person plus tax for the 5:30 p.m. seating and $134 per person plus tax for reservations after 5:30 p.m. Special pricing for food and wine club members, spouse, and their guests will be $104 per person plus tax at 5:30 p.m. and $124 plus tax per person for all other reservation times. Seating will be limited so call for reservations soon. Because of the high demand, there will be a 48-hour cancellation notice in effect in order to avoid being charged a late cancellation fee.

Additionally, from Feb. 14-17, there will also be a Valentine’s Lunch Special in the Pinnacle Restaurant. For $65 plus tax and gratuity for two people, diners will be able to have either one shared appetizer or salad for two; a choice of individual entrees such as shrimp pasta with lobster sauce with asparagus, baby heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil on linguini or charbroiled hanger steak served with roasted mixed marble potatoes, grilled asparagus and a citrus chimichurri; and a shared dessert of either molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and housemade raspberry sauce or a cookies and cream cheesecake with whipped cream and caramel malt pearls. Selected wines will be offered as an option with the special at $8 per glass. This special will be available in addition to the normal menu so make reservations soon.
