Police: Riverside massage parlor worker suspected of assaulting customers

RIVERSIDE (CNS) – A former massage parlor employee suspected of groping a customer may have assaulted others, and Riverside police today asked anyone with information to contact detectives.

Ray Vontae Brown, 23, of Perris was arrested last month on suspicion of sexual battery connected to an incident on Oct. 15 in Massage Envy at 19029 Van Buren Blvd.

Brown posted a $5,000 bond and was released hours later.

According to Riverside Police Department Officer Ryan Railsback, the incident allegedly involved Brown inappropriately touching a woman, who immediately reported it.

Railsback said that since that time, another woman has been located who may have been assaulted during a session with Brown. However, the Sexual Assault Child Abuse Unit is continuing to investigate the matter, Railsback said.

“Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not come forward,” Railsback said.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the investigative team at 951-826-8716, or email details to rpdtips@riversideca.gov.
