HEMET – The community is invited to attend the fifth anniversary of the Ramona Bowl’s Boo at the Bowl, a safe and sane alternative to trick or treating, Friday, Oct. 25,-26, from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4-7 p.m. Tickets are $7 and include 14 carnival tickets; however up to Oct. 24, tickets are $5 presale and include 14 carnival tickets. They are available at the Ramona Bowl or Downtown Deli.
All the favorites from past years including a magic show, trick-or-treat trail, carnival booths, Bouncerland, mini golf and spin art will be featured plus new this year, fun house, pumpkin theater and Café Boo. Café Boo will serve Halloween treats including combo meals with chicken nuggets, corn dogs and hotdogs. Also new this year, Café Boo will serve cold coffee drinks.
In addition, for the first time we will have a 5D experience trailer, which seats four at a time and provides a 3D experience plus the addition of smell and feel as the seats are hydraulic. There will be a separate ticket for that experience.
If students are looking for community service opportunities, they should contact the Ramona Bowl to help with construction of Boo at the Bowl. Call (951) 658-3111 for more information.
Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District is providing a slightly scarier experience for the older children down on the floor of the Ramona Bowl.
This year Boo at the Bowl is sponsored by Integrity Tire, Gosch Auto, Century 21 Realty, Downtown Deli and Coffee Company, Quality Inn, Finders Keepers, Diamond Valley Arts Center, Elena Kern Art and Better Homes and Gardens Realty.
