TEMECULA — Razor blades were found in two separate incidents in Temecula attached to the inside of car door handles that the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said were placed there to cause injury.

The first report came at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at the 41000 block of Carleton Way and the second report came in at 9:12 a.m. at the 31000 block of Daniel Way.

“It does not appear to be related to the incident that occurred on January 9th.  Both incidents occurred in separate areas of the city of Temecula,” said reporting Sergeant Albert Martinez.

No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Department asked the public to use caution when opening their vehicle doors and immediately report any incidents to the Sheriff’s dispatch.

Anyone with additional information is urged to call the Southwest Sheriff’s Station at (951) 696-3000.
