Registration opens for MLK parade

Registration is now open for the annual the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20.

Those wishing to register for the parade, which is put on as part of the Inland Empire Men’s Club’s annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Weekend and will be held in Old Town Murrieta at the south corner of Washington Avenue, should call Ronald Henderson at (760) 805-4034.

The Grand Marshall for the 2020 parade will be Riverside attorney the Rev. Monrow Mabon.

Cost to enter the parade is $100 with all proceeds going toward the Inland Empire Men’s Club Scholarship fund.

Vendor applications are also being accepted for the parade’s vendor area located near the Senior Citizen’s center parking lot.
