Reward offered for leads in investigation of Riverside murder


RIVERSIDE (CNS) – Riverside police on Sunday announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect in the murder of a 60-year-old woman.

Susan Wagner was found unconscious at about 11:30 p.m. November 1, 2019 in the 11400 block of Orion Street near Doty-Trust Park, police said.

Wagner was unconscious and suffering from numerous injuries consistent with an assault, police said.

Paramedics took Wagner to a hospital, where she died from her injuries, police said.

Wagner was seen walking on Orion Street between 7:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m., police said. She may have appeared disoriented and agitated.

Detectives want to talk to anyone who may have seen Wagner, other people or vehicles in the area around that time.

“We hope that someone will do the right thing and come forward with information or turn themselves in,” said the victim’s son, Chase Wagner. “This whole ordeal has been horrible for our family and has deeply affected us. We are all very upset and want justice.”
