The Sacred Heart Women’s Guild held their annual rummage sale at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Saturday, Oct. 12, offering clothes, books, antiques, knick knacks, kitchenware, shoes, luggage, toys, holiday decorations and more.

The ladies arranged the items – donated by church members and Anza residents – in rows, piles and displays for the perusing pleasure of those in attendance, and bargain hunters came from all over the Valley.

Event organizer Tara Butchart said, “Both the church and the community benefit from the funds we collect at the sale.”

The sale collects charitable donations for the guild’s service projects throughout the year.

“A big thanks to the Anza community and all that attended,” Butchart. “We even had people passing through town from other areas. Everyone was beyond generous.”
