SAN JACINTO – San Jacinto High School’s Air Force Jr. ROTC will host their annual Patriot Day Ceremony and remembrance event Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 9:05 a.m. at the campus quad at San Jacinto High School, 500 Idyllwild Drive, in San Jacinto.

The annual event involves performances by the school’s marching band and concert choir, a flag presentation by the Air Force JROTC cadets who will also host a reception room for guests with support by high school’s culinary arts students.

Susan Jordan, a teacher since 2006 who currently teaches civics and government and co-chair of the social science department, will give this year’s keynote address. She will retire at the end of the school year and has been a strong promoter of civic engagement for her students, according to school administrators. Jordan will share about her high school classmate who was in the World Trade Center on 9/11.
