MURRIETA – For over 30 years, Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors has been awarding scholarships to qualifying and deserving local high school seniors. On any given year, up to 30 scholarships are presented to students in southwest Riverside County who are continuing their education.
This year, SRCAR Scholarship Foundation presented 25 awards of $1,000 each to local students who will begin school in the fall, including Francois Atallah, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; Caden Bastman, Grand Canyon University; Jessica Bruce, Riverside City College; Lauren Carey, University of California Riverside; Alexandra Castillo, University of California San Diego; Alicia Crewse, California State University Sacramento; Zachary Cutka, San Diego State University; Collin Dang, Pennsylvania State University; Alexandria DeSimone, Texas Christian University; Malachi Drago, Mira Costa College; Brandon Garamone, Palomar College; Amanda Gonzalez, New York University; Logan Hall, California State Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo; Sydney Jensen, Mt. San Jacinto College; Amanda Luna, Arizona State University; Sean Morales-Swarthout; Destiny Parilla, University of the Pacific; Mia Perez, Seattle Pacific University; Madison Pineau, University of California Santa Barbara; Lindsay Taylor, Providence Christian College; Makenna Tempel, California State University Fullerton; Jacob Theobalt, Texas A & M University; Makayla Wendel, California State University San Marcos; Quentin Whaley, Crafton Hills College and Mariza Woodrum, Mt. San Jacinto College.
The students and their families were invited to attend the Zoom marketing meeting with SRCAR Tuesday, July 14, and be acknowledged by the membership. Many fundraisers take place annually to raise dollars for the SRCAR Scholarship Foundation.
The Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors is a real estate trade association with locations in Murrieta, Hemet and Menifee with a membership base of over 5,200 real estate professionals who live and work in southwest Riverside County.
