SAN BERNARDINO – In an ongoing effort to boost local, lifesaving blood reserves, Stater Bros. Markets, in conjunction with LifeStream Blood Bank, will host blood drives at select store locations.

“Stater Bros. has always believed in supporting the communities where our customers and employees live and work,” Stater Bros. CEO Pete Van Helden, who donates regularly, said. “We understand the need for blood is critical, and we should do whatever we can to help others.”

Blood drives will be held at the following Stater Bros. Market locations: in Palm Springs, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1717 E. Vista Chino Drive; in Yucca Valley, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 57075 Twentynine Palms Highway and in La Verne, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2090 Foothill Blvd.

All donors must bring a picture ID, and it is recommended that donors eat and are well hydrated before donating blood.
