Students make the dean’s list at Azusa Pacific University


AZUSA – Several local residents made the academic dean’s list at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a fall 2019 GPA of 3.5 or better. The university honored 2,172 students.

From Temecula, criminal justice major Dina Becerra, computer science major Matthew Catibayan, business accounting major John Clemente, business economics major John Henry, composition major Cameron Johnson, nursing major Xinran Li, journalism major Micah Roth, computer science major Samual Shaqqur, biblical studies major Joseph Torkelson, composition major Olivia Torkelson, social science major Jacquelyn Trombino, animation and visual effects major Shelby Uchida and criminal justice major Patricia Vasquez were named.

Murrieta residents were named, including psychology major Isabelle Brennan, business accounting major Hannah Hernandez, liberal studies major Bailey Noon, cinematic arts production major Benjamin Quirk, public relations major Isabella Schmitt, engineering major Stanley Schwab, nursing major Lauren Vandlen, music and worship major Annie Work and business management major Joel Work.

Liberal studies major Katie Goedken and psychology major Shariah Lazo of Menifee made the dean’s list.

Criminal justice major Timothy Lee, acting for the Stage and screen major Douglas McAvoy and psychology major Andriana Poole of Lake Elsinore were named to the dean’s list along with acting for the stage and screen major Morgan Young of Winchester.
