The Hamilton High School Bobcat cross country boys’ and girls’ teams have been a force to be reckoned with as the season progresses. All the hard work and training are paying off for these athletes.

“Both teams are in third place in the league currently and will qualify for CIF-SS Prelims Nov. 16, if the standings remain where they are now,” Coach Patrick Williams said. “We have two more league meets: Oct. 30 at Sherman Indian High School and Nov. 5 at Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet.”

The 2019 girls’ roster includes senior Ashley Sanchez; sophomores Samantha Cardena, Airi Garduno, Angelica Gomez, Rose Hopkins and Samantha Idhe; and freshmen Josselyn Rodriquez and Elizabeth Ruiz.

The boys’ team consists of seniors Angel Cervantes, Israel Cervantes, Kai Garduna, Mario Gomez and Jose Ramirez-Truillo and freshmen John Crowe, Hunter Delaney, Christopher Johnson-Price and Jeshua  Montiel.

Many of these students participate in more than one school sport during the year. For more information regarding athletics at Hamilton High School, visit
