Two local riders place at USA Mountain Biking Championships

The USA Mountain Biking Championships took place in Winter Park, Colorado, during the last weekend of July, and two local riders brought home some big accolades. Cade Calonder, 19, placed first in the Enduro competition and Cole Fiene, 19, placed second in the Dual Slalom competition.

Both men were members of the Temecula Valley High School Mountain Biking Club and graduated in 2018. They both also raced in the SoCal League for the National Interscholastic Cycling Association and competed in the senior 19-29 category 1 races at the USA Championships, which were held in Colorado, July 23-28.
