The city of Wildomar has prepared an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for the proposed Faith Bible Church project slated for Depasquale Road and Glazebrook Road in the city.
To adhere to CEQA guidelines, the city is required to post a public notice regarding the declaration and give the public the opportunity to review and comment positively or negatively about the project.
The MND and technical appendices, which are available online and in hard-copy version at Wildomar City Hall, will be available through May 30. They were made available, beginning May 1.
The planning commission is tentatively scheduled to review the project at its July 3 meeting and the city council will review it, Aug. 14.
The Faith Bible Church project proposes the development of a 27,489 square-foot worship building with a 1,030-seat capacity, assembly areas, rooms for Bible study/religious education, training and worship rooms.
The project would also include a 16,486-square-foot children’s ministry and child care building and an 18,024-square-foot gymnasium, three residential dwellings for visiting missionaries, an amphitheater and 795 parking spaces.
The Wildomar Planning Commission and City Council will have to approve a General Plan Amendment to convert the existing land use designation of commercial office and medium density residential to commercial retail, a plot plan, and a lot line adjustment to move the line adjoining the existing parcels.
In all, the project site would be 25.58 total acres.

A hard copy of the document is available for public review at the Wildomar Planning Department, 23873 Clinton Keith Road, Suite 201, in Wildomar during regular business hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays.
Public comments on the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration and the project should be submitted no later than 5 p.m., May 30.
