Dear Editor; How disturbing that California legislators are sponsoring SB 805 while L.A. County drafts an ordinance requiring federal agents to reveal their identities during high-risk law enforcement operations. Reports indicate that radical protesters are harassing and threatening federal agents as they become known. These proposed edicts are just more tone-deaf Democratic progressive symbolism over substance … and they’re unenforceable. Any state or local official attempting to enforce such regulations could be subject to arrest and prosecution for obstructing a federal officer, among other charges. Doubters should refer to the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause. Such diktats make as much sense as a city declaring a ban on nukes. Yet it is apparently still a state crime to w
