Hemet City Council continues hearing on Ramona Plaza Shopping Center subdivision

A decision by the City of Hemet’s Planning Commission to approve a subdivision for the Ramona Plaza Shopping Center parcels included conditions the landowner appealed to the Hemet City Council, and the city council has now twice continued the appeal.On September 23, the city council voted 5-0 to continue the hearing to allow the applicant’s attorney to work with the city on amendments to the conditions of approval involving utility undergrounding and landscaping. City council member Connie Howard-Clark abstained from the 4-0 October 14 vote to continue the hearing.
