Multiple vehicle collision causes slowing on I-15 southbound

A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles slowed southbound Interstate 15 near Mission Road Fallbrook Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was first reported at 9:51 a.m. in the southbound lanes just south of Mission Road. Dispatch logs indicated debris, including a bumper, scattered across the roadway, with a white SUV found sideways in the center divider and additional vehicles – described as a white sedan and black sedan – in the traffic lanes.

Units reported debris in the slow lane and middle lane, prompting calls for additional assistance. A rotation tow was requested at 10:02 a.m., with Adams Tow responding.

At least one unit arrived on scene by 10:08 a.m., with more being assigned as additional vehicles were reported in the center divider.

No information was immediately available regarding injuries or the number of vehicles ultimately involved. Village News will update this story as CHP releases further details.
