Ace Frehley, who was the lead guitarist for the hard rock band Kiss and was known as the Spaceman due to the makeup the Kiss band members wore, passed away on October 16. Daniel Sweet, who portrays Ace in the Kiss tribute band Kisstroyer USA which will be playing January 15 at The Vibe in Temecula, notes that he has been seeking to carry on Frehley’s legacy even when the Kiss guitarist was still alive.“I’m not trying to copy Ace, nor replace him.
