Kisstroyer USA guitarist continues carrying on Ace Frehley’s legacy

Ace Frehley, who was the lead guitarist for the hard rock band Kiss and was known as the Spaceman due to the makeup the Kiss band members wore, passed away on October 16. Daniel Sweet, who portrays Ace in the Kiss tribute band Kisstroyer USA which will be playing January 15 at The Vibe in Temecula, notes that he has been seeking to carry on Frehley’s legacy even when the Kiss guitarist was still alive.“I’m not trying to copy Ace, nor replace him. My mission is to carry forward a little bit of the magic that he created so the Spaceman, and what it means to fans, continues to live on,” Sweet said.Kisstroyer USA was founded in July 2017 and first played on a stage in March 2019.
